Personal Statement
Leah Shinn is a research assistant in the Dementia Health and Social Care Inequalities Research Group, within the Institute of Population Health, Department of Primary Care and Mental Health. She is also a Scientific Linking Pin for Me2U, as part of the North West Coast Living Lab in Ageing and Dementia.

Research Overview
I belong to the Dementia Health and Social Care Inequalities Research Group in the Institute of Population Health, based in the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health. My current research, working alongside Dr Clarissa Giebel, Professor Mark Gabbay and colleagues, concerns the relationships between work and health in the paid and unpaid adult social care workforce.
