ABOUT

Personal Statement
Dr. Anirudh Chhabra is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Space Robotics funded by the UKRI REMORA project under the guidance of Dr. Stefania Soldini. His work focuses on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations and experimental validation of multi-agent robotic systems for asteroid tracking, characterization, and manipulation. Dr. Chhabra received his Ph.D. Aerospace Engineering in August 2025 from the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Research Laboratory (IASRL) in the University of Cincinnati, USA, where he worked on the development of DYNAMOS: DYNAmic Attitude-orbital MOtion Simulator, a hybrid robotic platform-based 12-Degrees-Of-Freedom (DOF) spacecraft simulator that aims to successfully simulate In-Space Assembly and Manufacturing (ISAM) missions between a servicer spacecraft and a target satellite. Prior to this, he obtained his B.Eng. Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2018 from Panjab University, India. His academic philosophy is rooted in curiosity and the development of technologies that contribute to how we explore, understand, and sustain life beyond Earth.
