RESEARCH INTERESTS
Non-invasive Deep-Brain Modulation
This includes developing transcranial Temporal Interference stimulation (tTIS) and transcranial Focused Ultrasound stimulation (tFUS) to target and modulate deep-brain structures associated with Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease and to aid in recovery from brain injury.
Parkinson's Disease
The lab aims to build personalised, non-invasive neuromodulation interventions for the cardinal symptoms of Parkinson's Disease - Bradykinesia and Tremor. We do so by engaging directly with people with Parkinson's and those that help to treat and care for them.
Brain Injury Rehabilitation
We are keen to collaborate with clinicians and researchers who are interested in applying transcranial stimulation to improve network connectivity and boost rehabilitation outcomes in those with traumatic brain injury or stroke.
