ABOUT

Personal Statement
Sadie Pinkney is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice, new to academia after extensive NHS experience. She has held senior roles including Lead Integrated Primary Care Network (PCN) Pharmacist, Medicines Safety Officer, and Advanced Cardiology Lead Pharmacist. She completed the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer (CPhO) Clinical Fellowship in partnership with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) and has worked across national organisations including NHS England and the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE). Her experience spans clinical governance, medicines optimisation, and system-wide service development.

Sadie has led multidisciplinary teams, delivered quality improvement initiatives, and supported national programmes, including developing learning programmes for postgraduate pharmacy professionals. She also co-produced and led the implementation of the North West Inclusive Pharmacy Practice (IPP) Toolkit, a pioneering initiative to promote equity, inclusion, and reflective practice across pharmacy services in over 30 organisations.

She is keen to use her skills and experience to help develop the next generation of pharmacists and is excited to be involved in shaping the new School of Pharmacy.
