Personal Statement
I obtained my first degree from the London School of Econoics in Statistics and my MSc in statistics from the same institution, both by 1972. I spent a period on the research staff at LSE and then embarked on a career in teaching and research. This has taken in a wide range of universities, including York and Newcastle in the UK and the Uuniversities of Sydney and New South Wales in Australia.
I joined the staff of the University of Liverpool Management School in 2011, continuing to work in estimation and testing methodology in Time Series Econometrics.
