Personal Statement
I have a PhD in Marine Biology with an MSc in Marine Pollution and Management and a BTech in Hydrobiology. My research expertise includes water-sediment quality, aquatic ecosystem health, and pollution dynamics in estuarine and marine environments. Specialises in ecotoxicology, biomonitoring, and environmental risk assessment, with particular focus on benthic macroinvertebrates and emerging contaminants such as microplastics. My work integrates applied ecological monitoring with water quality assessment, supporting evidence-based environmental decision-making, governance, and sustainable water resource management.
