ABOUT
Personal Statement
I am a Research Associate at the Mental Health Research & Innovation Centre (M RIC), University of Liverpool, specialising in loneliness and mental health interventions for children and adolescents.
My research interests include young people's mental health, school-based interventions, and trial methodology. Previously, I worked as a research assistant for the Bradford NHS, and as a Trial Support Officer and Research Fellow at York Trials Unit, coordinating and supporting various education and mental health intervention trials.
I hold a PhD in Education from University of Manchester, where my thesis focused on children’s and young people’s lived experiences of loneliness and the development of an evidence base for loneliness interventions. I also hold an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from University of York and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University.
