ABOUT

Personal Statement
I am currently a Lecturer in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Liverpool within the Department of Materials, Design and Manufacturing.
I joined the University of Liverpool in Sept 2026. Before joining the University of Liverpool, I was a Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Swansea University.

My primary area of research is Additive Manufacturing (AM)/3D Printing of stimuli-responsive functional materials, including magneto-active, electro-active and shape memory materials. I have gained AM experience working in various institutions around the world, including my PhD (2015-2019) at the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and postdocs (2019-2023), first at the Institute of Active Polymers, Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon (Germany), and second at the world-renowned Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM), University of Nottingham (UK).

I have published my research in prestigious journals, including Advanced Materials.

I am interested in both fundamental and translational research.
