Personal Statement
I am a Tenure Track Fellow jointly appointed in the Departments of Artificial Intelligence and Accounting and Finance at the University of Liverpool. I hold two PhDs: a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Manchester (2021), where I was awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship to support my doctoral research, and a PhD in Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2019). My background combines doctoral research in AI and Big Data in Finance, extensive postdoctoral experience, and senior-level industry experience in financial data science.
