ABOUT
Personal Statement
I am the Mobile Application Development Manager within the Digital Innovation and Application Development team, part of IT Services. I’m passionate about creating mobile apps that enhance the experience of the University’s students and staff. Where possible, I also enjoy collaborating with academic colleagues to support research initiatives, particularly those contributing to REF Impact case studies.
I have certificates from the Association of Project Management (PFQ) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL 4 Foundation).
In addition, I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and have completed the Fear Free training. My main interests lie in understanding the impact of pain on dog behaviour and ways veterinary practices can reduce stress for their patients.
Research Overview
I am currently involved in the Dog Mobility App (DogMA) with colleagues in the Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences. For more information on this app, please visit: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/life-course-and-medical-sciences/research/dogma/
