ABOUT
Personal Statement
Charlotte Nelson first joined the University of Liverpool in 2007 as a Research Assistant at the School of Cancer Studies. She relocated to Sydney in 2010 to work at the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia for three years investigating potential drug therapies for Neuroblastoma. She returned to the University of Liverpool's Institute of Translational Medicine in 2013 to take up an appointment at the Centre of Genomic Research as a Research Associate. She is also a member of the Integrate Project, a research programme aimed at creating a one-health system for detecting and investigating clusters and outbreaks of diarrhoea and vomiting in the community through next generation sequencing.
