Personal Statement
I am a Senior Lecturer in Public Health Informatics and Data Science at the University of Liverpool, specialising in epidemiological modelling, health data science, and policy evaluation for non-communicable disease prevention.

My research develops microsimulation and forecasting methods to project disease burdens and evaluate prevention policies. I created the IMPACTNCD modelling framework, which has been applied in England, Brazil, Japan, and Germany to inform national and local health policy. This work features in the UK Chief Medical Officer's report Health 2040 and has supported decision-making by NHS England, Public Health England, and the Health Foundation. Current projects focus on projecting multimorbidity and healthcare demand to 2040, evaluating food policy interventions, and quantifying underdiagnosis in routine health data.

I teach across the MSc in Data Science and Analytics for Health and the Master of Public Health, and serve as Deputy Lead for the Public, Preventive & Global Health Theme in the Medical School. I welcome enquiries about PhD supervision, research collaboration, and policy partnerships.
