Personal Statement
I am head of Normal structure and Function (NSF) in the School of veterinary Science
I specialise in teaching functional and applied veterinary anatomy to undergraduate veterinary students. I currently lead on teaching of the anatomy of the head and thorax.
My research looks at form and function of different head shapes.
I also have a strong interest in learning through drawing, and run regular anatomical drawing sessions for students.
Research Overview
My research focuses on form and function, in particular the head shape of canids.
I am also interested in drawing for learning, medical and veterinary illustration and run regular anatomical drawing sessions.
My interests are:
Anatomy, veterinary science, canine anatomy, farm animal anatomy, equine anatomy, wild canids, comparative mammalian anatomy, veterinary anatomy, form and function, drawing for learning, drawing anatomy.
