ABOUT
Personal Statement
Emma graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and worked in small animal practice prior to joining the University of Liverpool where she completed an MSc in veterinary science and a PhD investigating carriage of antimicrobial resistant E. coli by in-contact dogs and humans. It was during this time Emma developed a love of teaching and she was appointed as a Lecturer in Veterinary Professional and Clinical Skills and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2022.
Emma's research interests centre around student progression and remediation; development of reflective capability and wellbeing and inclusion within the veterinary profession.
