Personal Statement
My interests are invariably grounded in the experimental study of genetics and evolutionary biology, either on a whole genome scale, or within the architectures of specific traits. My PhD project sparked a deep appreciation of butterflies and moths and naturally my research interests have gravitated towards this group of charismatic insects. However, I am also more generally interested in entomology, agriculture and biodiversity.
