Personal Statement
As I teach German language modules in all years, I really enjoy seeing how students' German skills progress to near native competence, especially after their year abroad as I am also the Director of the Year Abroad in LCF Languages, Cultures and Film.

In 2024, I founded The network HE GILT! Higher Education Games in Language teaching together with Dorit Fellner-Whitgreave from the University of Manchester. Please see our website here: HE GILT!
