My primary research interest is in the transport and fate of particles in soils and engineered porous media. I have additional research interests in soil- and waterborne pathogens and human health, numerical and agent-based simulation of soil biogeochemical processes, radiological imaging of radionuclide transport in repository liner materials, cryosphere sediment transport and processes of soil genesis and evolution.
