Personal Statement
I am a senior lecturer specialising in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and the uses of IT by accountants. I have taught at Universities for over 20 years at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as teaching on ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA professional accountancy courses.

Prior to becoming a lecturer, I was an auditor and Chartered Accountant with Big-4 firm Deloitte. I was a national prizewinner in my final ICAEW exams. My commercial experience also includes roles as International Accountant at a FTSE-100 insurance company, and as Chief Accountant within one of the UK’s biggest privately-owned retail groups.
