Personal Statement
Laurie received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2011 from the University of North Wales, Bangor, for work on molecular nanoelectronics. He is now a research associate in the Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy at the University of Liverpool. His main research interest is in developing new and sustainable photovoltaic materials, including Antimony Chalcogenides and non-toxic Cs2AgBiBr6 double perovskites.
