Personal Statement
My broad research interests are videogames and football. I have specifically worked on the ideological significance of AAA videogames, neoliberalism and play, the social and cultural significance of football themed videogames, microtransactions in videogames, and football fandom. I am happy to discuss potential projects relating to sports media, football themed videogames, microtransactions, and critical studies of videogames. I am especially interested in projects that utilise critical/creative methodologies.
