Personal Statement
I have a PhD from the Department of Eye and Vision Science at the University of Liverpool, which focused on cytoskeletal changes in cells during ageing and the potential link with glaucoma. I am currently a post-doctoral researcher looking at neuromuscular junctions and ROS production in muscle fibres. We are interested in how changes with age may interact in both these tissue systems.

My main research focus is age-related changes in tissue systems with a practical emphasis on use of microscopy to capture and evaluate morphological changes.
