ABOUT

Personal Statement
Dr Peter Green (PG) became a lecturer in Uncertainty and Engineering at the UoL in 2015. His background is in structural dynamics, but he now develops uncertainty quantification and machine learning methods for engineering disciplines.

Dr Green’s work focuses on AI solutions which, by helping to foster trust between practitioners and algorithms, can address the significant cultural challenges that are often associated with the introduction of AI technology and positively influence high-consequence decision making. To date he has applied AI solutions across multiple sectors including: Additive Manufacturing, Defence, Civil Engineering, Healthcare and the Foundation Industries.
