Personal Statement
Prudence Wong is Head of Algorithms and Computing System, School of Computer Science and Informatics. She is Chair of EPSRC ICT Strategic Advisory Team. She has previsouly held a number of administrative and leadership roles: internally as Chair of Board of Stuides, Chair of Curriculum Board, School Director of Global Engagement and Partnerships; externally as Chair of London Mathematical Society Computer Science Comittee, external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various UK universities.

Prudence Wong has obtained her PhD from University of Hong Kong. She joined University of Liverpool in 2004 and is now a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Informatics. Her research expertises include theoretical computer science, design and analysis of algorithms, combinatoiral optimization, online and approximation algorithms. She is also interested in interdisciplinary research working with biologists and chemists.
