Personal Statement
Iain is the Director of Studies for the MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management (in partnership with Laureate Online Education). He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and secured the programme's accreditation with CIPS, which is the only accredited programme delivered through e-learning format. His on campus teaching also includes project management and lean thinking. Prior to embarking on an academic career Iain has over 15 years working with OEMs with operations management, ISO:9000 accreditation, business development and other process improvement initiatives. His current research has expanded into Engineer-to-Order, management learning and mass customisation. Iain is keen to collaborate in these research themes.
