Personal Statement
I specialise in commercial law and am the author of 'Commercial Law', now into its 10th edition as part of Sweet & Maxwell's Textbook Series. I am particularly interested in the relationship between corporates and financial crime, including in the context of anti-money laundering and anti-bribery laws. I am also interested in pedagogic research and scholarship, particularly around questions of academic attainment and graduate outcomes. I have experience of a wide range of leadership roles within the Liverpool Law School, and across the University of Liverpool more broadly and am currently the Head of the Liverpool Law School.
