Personal Statement
Shalini's main area of research is Macroeconomics. Her work focuses on financial constraints, business cycle dynamics and the causes and consequences of the informal sector. She also studies the business cycle implications of the increasing use of intangible capital in production. Shalini joined the University of Liverpool after completing her PhD in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
